AjouterChrista has worked as an Acupuncturist and TCMD for 20 years. She loves helping women feel better during their pregnancies by using acupuncture, which helps with pregnancy, birth and recovery. Christa believes women give so much of themselves and by helping them restore their energy and reserves, they are able to care for baby even better.
As a Registered Acupuncturist, and Traditional Chinese Medicine Herbalist, Christa is honoured to be part of everything from fertility and pregnancy through postpartum time. She offers knowledge during sessions and encourages patients to feel comfortable and supported and to listen to their own bodies. She also gets to witness the changes clients go through as they become a parent, which is a beautiful experience.
Christa loves a good grass fed steak, especially when she can enjoy it with her two teenagers!

Cupping can be done on almost any part of the body. It is good for pain and sore muscles and brings blood flow to areas that need it. Silicone cups or traditional fire cupping with glass can be done. Although most commonly used for back pain it is useful on many areas of the body, including the face.

First we start with an initial consultation to go over your needs and concerns in a warm, comfortable environment. Then an acupuncture treatment will follow which could include laying on your back, front or both. Acupuncture is inserting very thin painless needles into specific points on the body. Sometimes cupping is involved as well as moxibustion.

First we start with an initial consultation to go over what areas of the face you want to focus on. Then we start with a few needles in the hands and feet and after cleansing the face we insert very small needles in to fine lines, pigmentations, scarring, dark circles, large pores etc. on the face and neck. We end the session with relaxing facial cupping. Follow up Facial Acupuncture A few minutes will be taken to go over how are you doing and what your needs and concerns are that day. Then we start with a few needles in the hands and feet and after cleansing the face we insert very small needles in to fine lines, pigmentations, scarring, dark circles, large pores etc. on the face and neck. We end the session with relaxing facial cupping.

We start with going over your needs and concerns and depending on age and comfort levels we have different tools to use with children and infants. We can stimulate the acupuncture points with acupressure, tiny sticker needles or ear seeds. A Japanese abdominal massage is helpful for digestive discomforts. Gentle cupping can also be done.
