The Priessnitz Pack is a traditional constitutional hydrotherapy technique that aims to support circulation, regulate immune function, and promote relaxation. This treatment involves the application of a cool, damp wrap followed by a dry insulating layer, allowing the body to gradually warm the wrap while at rest. What to Expect During the Treatment: A cool, damp cotton sheet will be wrapped around your torso and limbs, followed by a dry insulating layer. The treatment lasts 40-60 minutes, during which your body naturally warms the wrap. You will remain wrapped and resting comfortably to allow for full therapeutic effects. After the treatment, your skin will be gently dried, and you’ll be advised to rest warmly for an additional 15-30 minutes for optimal recovery. Preparation & What to Bring: To ensure optimal skin exposure, please bring a two-piece bathing suit (or similar attire) that allows access to the torso and extremities. This treatment may not be suitable for individuals with difficulty regulating body temperature, severe cardiovascular conditions, or acute infections.
