Dr. Ciara Savard, ND is a naturopathic doctor, birth doula, and reiki practitioner. She graduated from Johnson State College (now known as Vermont State University - Johnson) with a Bachelors of Science in Wellness and Alternative Medicine and then moved further north, going on to become a naturopathic doctor through the **Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine**.
She spent part of her clinical year of studies in externship and doula training with **Your Downtown Doula** and has continued to serve the GTA as part of this team in the perinatal ever since.
Her early years in a rural part of the U.S. connected her with the rhythms of nature so for her naturopathic medicine and birth work could not be any closer to home. Looking after animals and the young has always been second nature for for. She comes from an active background in Irish step dancing, soccer, and running and to this day finds that **physiology** and what the human body can do is incredible given proper nourishment and care, breath, rest, and connection.

Her clinical practice is individualized care that blends modalities including lifestyle and nutrition recommendations, supplementation, **herbal medicine**, homeopathy and flower essences, **Traditional Chinese Medicine** and acupuncture, physical medicine and hydrotherapy, as well as energetics and meridian systems as called for.

Our naturopathic assessment is a comprehensive from a physical perspective - this whole-body evaluation designed to uncover the root causes of imbalance. Each session blends traditional diagnostic methods with a physical and energetic examination to create an individualized treatment plan for acupuncture, reiki or cupping. During your assessment, your naturopathic doctor will review your health history, lifestyle factors, and body systems, followed by a hands-on evaluation to identify patterns of tension, stagnation, or energetic blockages. Depending on your needs, this may include palpation, abdominal assessment, postural observation, and gentle mobility testing. If you are not looking to have a physical treatment but more medical evaluation and health deep dive with systemic diagnosis, please book the Naturopath Assessment in the section above. The goal is to understand how your body’s structure, energy, and organ systems are communicating — guiding a customized plan that may include acupuncture, cupping, reiki, herbal or nutritional support, and mind-body recommendations to restore optimal flow and function.
