Dr Claire Astley is an MD and Dr TCM (which is a registered acupuncturist and herbalist).
She has studied extensively in Canada, US, China and Japan.
She practices a palpation-based style of Japanese acupuncture using gentle needling techniques..
She offers diet, lifestyle and supportive counselling as well as prescribing herbal medicines.
Treatments are also given to children and needle-phobic patients with needle-less techniques such as gua sha, moxibustion, LASER, cupping and shonishen.

A gentle treatment for kids. Smaller needles are used and needle retention time is shorter. Can include Shonishin (pediatric Japanese meridian massage with small specialized tools), Acupressure and/or Tuina Massge (Chinese Massage), or Laser acupuncture.
