Dr. Connie LeBrun is a Sports Medicine physician dedicated to helping active individuals prevent, diagnose, and recover from musculoskeletal injuries and medical conditions. She provides evidence-based care for patients of all activity levels—from recreational exercisers and weekend warriors to competitive athletes—with the goal of helping them return safely to the activities they enjoy.
Dr. LeBrun is a Professor in the Department of Family Medicine, Faculty of Medicine & Dentistry at the University of Alberta. She earned her medical degree from McGill University in Montreal before completing a Sports Medicine Fellowship and a Master's degree in Exercise Physiology at the University of British Columbia.
With a longstanding passion for sports medicine education and research, Dr. LeBrun has particular interests in the health of active girls and women, concussion assessment and return-to-play, and the prevention and management of sports-related injuries. She is an active collaborator with the Sport Injury Prevention Research Centre (SIPRC) at the University of Calgary, contributing to ongoing concussion research.
Dr. LeBrun is committed to providing compassionate, individualized care that helps patients recover from injury, optimize performance, and maintain an active, healthy lifestyle.

After your first session, your trainer will help you determine the ideal duration of future sessions to best help you achieve your goals.
What you need to bring to your appointment: 1) Prescription if required by your insurer (check with your insurer directly prior to booking an appointment) 2) Shoes you most frequently wear, which have removable insoles 3) Comfortable shorts to wear during the assessment Please note: One Wellness cannot direct bill to your insurance company for custom orthotics. Full payment for your Custom Orthotics is due at the time of your appointment. To enable you to submit your claim as soon as possible, we will provide you with the following documentation: 1) Receipt (upon full payment) 2) Letter from Certified Pedorthist (day of appointment) 3) Bio-mechanical assessment (provided within 7 days, but often sooner) Each insurance company has different requirements, so please contact your insurer directly to determine what is required, and how much your policy will cover prior to your appointment.

Initial consultations and some follow-up treatments are covered by Alberta Health Services (AHS). Some injections therapies are unfortunately not covered by AHS, and are therefore private pay. It is preferable, but not necessary, to have your regular healthcare provider send a referral letter if you wish to have a consultation with Dr. Triska. **Cancellations within 24 hours of appointment time or no shows will have a $100 cancellation fee charged to the credit card on file.**
