Darren graduated from Logan College of Chiropractic, located in St. Louis, Missouri in 1999 with a Doctor of Chiropractic degree. Prior to that he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology from Memorial University of Newfoundland, located in his home province in 1995. After completing his studies he gained experience practicing in Newfoundland, as well as Ontario. From Ontario Darren then moved to the Okanagan valley in 2003 to work as a locum Chiropractor throughout BC, including Duncan.
After seeing this beautiful province he decided Vancouver Island would be a great place to live and practice.
Darren runs a general Chiropractic practice with an emphasis on the treatment of all ailments of a musculoskeletal origin. Lower back pain, sciatica, neck pain and headaches are among the most frequent problems he addresses on a regular basis. His main method of treatment is spinal manipulation to restore proper spinal alignment and function, along with the addition of counselling on proper stretching and strengthening exercises to promote overall spinal stability. The promotion of overall health and well-being through diet and exercise is also an important aspect of his practice.
In his free time Darren enjoys weight training at the gym, running, mountain biking, hiking and enjoying all this beautiful island has to offer.
