**Hi, I’m Dr. Devon Peiffer**
_Doctor of Acupuncture, Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine (DTCM), Certified Equine Remedial Therapist_
Healing has always been my calling — though it first came with four hooves and a swishing tail. In my years as an Equine Remedial Therapist, I witnessed the incredible transformations that come when pain is eased and balance is restored. Horses taught me the power of gentleness, patience, and presence — lessons I carry into every treatment I give today.
It wasn’t long before I realized that the same principles that help my equine patients thrive could profoundly benefit the humans who care for them. That realization lit a spark, and I followed it straight to the Alberta College of Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine in Calgary, where I immersed myself in centuries‑old healing traditions and modern clinical practice.
In my clinic, each session is more than just an appointment — it’s a partnership. Whether you’re seeking relief from chronic pain, help managing stress, or simply a deeper sense of balance, we work together to create a treatment plan that’s uniquely yours. My approach blends acupuncture, Traditional Chinese Medicine, and lifestyle guidance to help you feel not only better, but more connected to your own well‑being.
When I’m not in the treatment room, you’ll usually find me outside — hands on a horse, spending time with family, or somewhere on an adventure. For me, wellness isn’t just something I practice with patients; it’s a way of life I live every day.
I look forward to helping you feel your best, inside and out.

Fire cupping is a time-honored therapy used in traditional Chinese medicine to move Qi and blood, release stagnation, and ease tension in the body. Glass cups are placed on the skin using gentle suction created with heat, encouraging circulation and supporting the body’s natural ability to heal. This therapy is often used for muscle pain, stiffness, fatigue, and to promote overall balance and vitality.
A focused treatment that builds on your initial visit. We’ll check in on how you’re feeling, evaluate your progress, and provide continued acupuncture care. Each session is adjusted to your current symptoms and response to treatment, supporting your long-term health and balance.
Your first visit is all about getting to know you. We’ll take time to talk about your health, lifestyle, and what you’d like support with, followed by a customized acupuncture treatment tailored to your needs. This session also includes discussion of your health history, current concerns, and goals for care, laying the foundation for your healing journey.
