This is the second visit for your concussion assessment and therapy. Any testing which was difficult to complete on the first day may be completed during this visit. We will also review the results of your initial concussion assessment and clearly explain our findings. During this appointment, your clinician will go over your report of findings, discuss the factors contributing to your symptoms, and outline a personalized treatment plan tailored to your recovery goals. Treatment will begin during this session, focusing on strategies and therapies that best support your stage of healing. This appointment is an important step in understanding your concussion, monitoring your progress, and ensuring you receive the right care moving forward. The Baseline Concussion Assessment, utilizing the Complete Concussion Management Protocol, provides athletes with an essential pre-concussion evaluation. This assessment offers a clear baseline of the athlete’s cognitive and physical abilities, enabling both the athlete and healthcare provider to pinpoint specific areas of the brain that may require treatment following an injury. By tracking this baseline, we can ensure precise and informed decisions regarding the athlete's recovery process, helping determine the optimal time for their safe return to learning and sports activities. This follow-up treatment session provides focused care to address your current concussion symptoms and continue progressing your recovery plan. Your clinician will deliver targeted therapies based on your needs that day, helping support steady and effective improvement over time.

For patients who have completed the initial assessment and are beginning their rehabilitation program. Patients will be taken through rehabilitation specific to the results of their assessment.. Exercise, nutrition, manual therapy, and return to work/play support may be provided.

A detailed physical and cognitive assessment will be completed to evaluate your balance, coordination, eye movements, neurological function, and cognitive performance. This thorough evaluation helps us determine the type and severity of your concussion, allowing us to provide accurate guidance and individualized care. This appointment is an essential first step in understanding your injury and setting the foundation for effective, personalized treatment.

For a patient who has been to our clinic for care in the past. However, your last visit was between 1 year and 2 years ago. In this appointment we will updated your medical history, preform a new complaint history and physical examination, and provide you with a diagnosis and treatment options.
