Dr. Ellen has been practicing Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture for 20+ yrs. Born in Taiwan, Dr. Ellen received training in Beijing, China and Canada. She brings a wealth of skills and experience to her care of clients where she specializes in women’s health, ear nose & throat, musculoskeletal disorders and stress related problems. She is also trained as a certified Manual Osteopathic Therapist. In her spare time Dr. Huang enjoys playing multiple musical instruments as well staying active through swimming, skiing and tai chi.

15 min - This is a complementary appointment for anyone who is new to Naturopathic Medicine. This appointment is ideal for anyone who may have questions about how Naturopathic Medicine works and how it can help with health concerns, or if you have specific questions about how treatments work (like prolotherapy or acupuncture). If you already know you are ready to get started, you are welcome to skip this appointment and jump right to booking the New Patient Consultation.
This appointment is for patients who have already had a mesotherapy initial to continue their treatment plan. As mesotherapy is primarily a cosmetic treatment, it is not eligible to be billed to health insurance. Please keep in mind this treatment includes 1mL of solution, additional mL's of solution will be $22 per mL.
This is the initial appointment for mesotherapy treatments. This appointment will be a little longer than follow ups as we address what concerns we need to address before treatments. As mesotherapy is primarily a cosmetic treatment, it is not eligible to be billed to health insurance. Mesotherapy is the injection of natural substances (including hyaluronic acid) into the upper layers of the skin to address skin, nerve, and pain complaints. It is particularly good at addressing scars and other degradation of collagen in skin tissue. Please keep in mind this treatment includes 1mL of solution, additional mL's of solution will be $22 per mL.
This appointment has been created to be used at the discretion of Dr. Shannon and the support staff when a patient has an uncomplicated question of concern that does not require the full 45 min follow up.

45 min - This appointment type is for patients to receive their previously prescribed prolotherapy, and is best patients getting 3-4 areas treated.
15 min - This appointment is for patients to receive their previously prescribed prolotherapy, and is best for one area of treatment and patients who are comfortable with needles and prolotherapy.
30 min - This appointment is for patients to receive their previously prescribed prolotherapy, and is best for patients getting two areas treated.
15 min - This appointment is for current patients to receive their previously prescribed vitamin injections.
60 min - This appointment is for all new patients 16 years of age and under for an initial consultation. This appointment includes a thorough history, assessment, and will include treatment recommendations.
90 min - This appointment is for all new patient's initial consultation with Dr. Shannon. This appointment includes a thorough history, assessment, and will include treatment recommendations.
