Dr. Gayamali is a board-certified Naturopathic Doctor and birth doula. She completed her Doctorate at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto. Prior to that, she obtained her Honours Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Toronto and Master of Education degree from the University of Windsor.
Dr. Gayamali, is a strong supporter of evidence-based medicine and uses this approach to treat the root cause of her patients’ health concerns. Her clinical interests include but are not limited to Women’s health and dermatology. She also treats a wide array of chronic lifestyle diseases including high blood pressure, diabetes, high cholesterol, obesity, hormonal imbalances, mental and emotional disorders, and more.
As a Naturopathic Birth Doula, Gayamali provides mothers-to- be with prenatal care and support before, during and after labour and delivery to allow for a positive birth experience. This includes providing nutritional counselling, acupuncture, botanical herbs, and physical medicine. She is also passionate about providing pre-conception care to women who are trying to conceive or facing challenges with conceiving.
Dr. Gayamali is an active member of the board of directors for drugless therapy.
