Dr. Heena earned her Doctorate in Chiropractic from New York Chiropractic College in 2019 and her Bachelor of Science Hons. from York University in 2016. She is a registered member of the College of Chiropractors of Ontario.
Dr. Heena is a passionate Chiropractor who has gained extensive experience from studying and working in the United States as well as Canada. She has experience working with people of all different ages and paths of life, including babies and the geriatric population. Dr. Heena has experience treating a variety of patients including pregnancy, post-partum, athletes, children, workplace and motor vehicle injuries.
Dr. Heena is consistently upgrading her skills by taking continuing education courses to further support her patients. She uses an evidence-based approach to assess and communicate diagnoses and create personalised treatment plans for her patients. She utilizes a diverse range of treatment techniques, including chiropractic adjustments, instrument adjusting, mobilizations, neuro-functional acupuncture, soft tissue therapy, cupping, athletic taping, rehabilitative exercise and patient education.
As a health enthusiast, Dr. Heena values the significance of leading an optimal lifestyle via proper nutrition, sleep, physical activity and mental health. In her free time, she enjoys going for walks, reading, and spending time with friends and family.
