Dr. Irvin Lee-Ying received his Bachelor of Science degree in zoology and biological sciences from the University of Alberta. After suffering from low back pain in his early 20's, he went to see a chiropractor who diagnosed and successfully treated his injury. Interested in healthcare and intrigued by his chiropractic experience, Dr. Lee-Ying was accepted into the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC) in Toronto where he gained a comprehensive chiropractic education. Upon returning to Calgary, Dr. Lee-Ying opened Woodbine Chiropractic Clinic in 1999.
Dr. Lee-Ying has an interest in clinical neuroscience. He regularly updates his knowledge through continuing education with the Carrick Institute for Post Graduate Studies. Dr. Lee-Ying is a Diplomate of the American Chiropractic Neurology Board.

Physical examination of the feet and analysis of gait. The Orthotic Group GaitScan is a digital pressure plate used to take a "snap shot" of your feet when walking. Finally, a foam impression of your feet is created to give additional information in the manufacturing of your custom orthotics. PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING: 1. Medical prescription for orthotics 2. Dispensing Practitioner allowances (podiatrist, chiropractor, pedorthist, chiropodist, etc.) 3. We cannot direct-bill the Insurance company for custom orthotics. The patient is required to pay the fees at the pick-up time. The provided Statement will be sent to the insurance company by the patient.
Picking-up Custom Orthotics sent from the manufacturer. Making sure the custom orthotics fit in footwear and instructions for adjusting to their use. Documentation provided which will be sent by the insured member to the insurance company for reimbursement.

New Patients. The Initial Examination includes comprehensive health history, neurological examination, orthopedic examination, and chiropractic treatment. If x-rays are required, the patient is referred to a radiology lab nearby.

If treatment is authorized within the DTPR for a WAD I injury, a first degree or second degree sprain or strain, then the amount payable for the first three (3) treatment visits, including supportive care. If treatment is authorized within the DTPR for a WAD II injury or a third degree sprain or strain, then the amount payable for the first seven (7) treatment visits, including supportive care, shall be $83.00 per treatment visit.
