Dr. Janelle Albas is an award-winning
Naturopathic Doctor serving downtown Calgary.
Dr. Albas is a graduate of the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine and previously completed a Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Victoria.
Dr. Albas grew up in Canmore, Alberta and has always had a passion for nature and the outdoors. She uses natural remedies in conjunction with the latest scientific research to create individualized effective treatment plans. Her role is to guide your personal growth toward realizing your health and wellness goals. Dr. Albas promotes the use of natural treatments, improved diet and stress management as the foundation for healthy living.
Dr. Albas has recently returned to Alberta after practicing for four years as a Naturopathic Doctor in Toronto, Ontario. Her practice focused on overall body wellness along with specialties in Endocrinology and Dermatology. Dr.Albas has experience balancing the hormonal system to improve fertility, reduce menopausal symptoms, improve athletic performance and recovery, balance thyroid function and minimize the stress response. As a Naturopathic Doula, she has the specialized knowledge to help support women through pregnancy and excels at providing pre and post-natal care. Dr. Albas is certified in Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture and Facial Massage to treat dermatological conditions and reduces the signs of ageing. Dr. Albas treats all illnesses in a holistic manner. She strives to identify and treat the cause of the imbalance instead of masking symptoms.
Dr. Albas is a registered Naturopathic Doctor and a member of the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors. Outside of her practice, she leads an active lifestyle and enjoys yoga, running, road cycling, cross-country skiing, cooking and travelling.
