Rest and receive. This appointment allows for deeper dives and sweeter resting. Additional time = additional care to supplement your acupuncture treatment plan and optimize the healing benefits. Acupressure involves gentle and firm finger pressure, focusing on breath and releasing body tensions. It can allow for fewer pins, as well. Medical QiGong is mostly an off-body, yet deep treatment to address both flow and specific organ systems in need of regulation. Face GuaSha and scalp massage are relaxing and rejuvenating, and respond to all aspects of your treatment. TuiNa is a Chinese style of manually activating flow. Typically I treat the back, neck, shoulders and legs. You may specify which of the "extras" in a note when you book, otherwise I will treat according to assessment.

Glass fire cupping uses negative pressure, or suction, to invigorate the circulation of blood, qi and lymph, encouraging flow and ease in tense areas. The experience can be relaxing and create warmth in the body. Cupping is beneficial for sore muscles, shoulder and back pain, feeling chilled, some respiratory conditions, and some menstrual and digestive issues. Silicone suction cups may also be used.

Requires a prior Cosmetic Facial Rejuvenation and Body Acupuncture assessment and treatment (70mins/$175). This appointment is a face-only treatment. Recommended twice per week x 3 weeks, and once a week x 6 weeks for optimal benefit.
