AjouterHi, I’m Dr. Jessica Longhi—but you can call me Dr. Jess! I grew up in Vaughan, Ontario, before moving to Peterborough, where I earned my Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences and later a Master’s degree at Trent University. I always knew I wanted to help people in healthcare, but it wasn’t until I discovered chiropractic that everything clicked. I connected with the profession instantly and knew it was the way I could truly improve people’s quality of life.

I went on to earn my Doctor of Chiropractic degree at New York Chiropractic College in Seneca Falls, New York. During that time, I worked with clients of all ages, from infants to seniors. One of the most impactful experiences was completing a residency at the Rochester Veterans Affairs Outpatient Clinic, where I developed a strong interest in working with adults and older adults. That experience reinforced my holistic approach—seeing the person, not just the condition.
My love for animals also led me to pursue animal chiropractic certification through the Veterinary Chiropractic Learning Centre here in Canada. Today, I run Morrice Animal Chiropractic out of our Picton location, where I have the joy of working with both small and large animals.
A little about me:
* I’m married to my husband, Tim, and together we’re raising our daughter in Quinte West
* I have two wonderful dogs, Dolly and Daisy
* I’m the proud forever-person to Pete, my off-the-track Standardbred horse
* I love spending time outdoors—gardening, long walks, and evenings by the campfire
* I enjoy visiting art galleries and exploring creativity in all forms
* My favourite restaurant is Bocado
* My favourite flower is the dahlia

Are you new to our chiropractic care? If you haven’t seen one of our chiropractors before, this option is perfect for you! Designed for new clients, the adult initial consultation includes a comprehensive consultation, a thorough skeletal and nervous system evaluation, and a detailed postural assessment.
This initial consultation is designed for infants to children under 12 years old, who have not yet visited our practice or seen our chiropractors. During this session, we will conduct a thorough consultation, a complete evaluation of the skeletal and nervous systems, a postural assessment, and a check of infant and childhood reflexes. We will also discuss how chiropractic care can support your child’s development from infancy through childhood.

This option is designed for new clients interested in laser therapy. If you’re new to our practice and haven’t seen one of our chiropractors before, this is the perfect starting point! The consultation includes a comprehensive assessment of your skeletal and nervous system, a detailed postural evaluation, and a discussion to determine if laser therapy is the right service for you. Follow-up laser appointments are best booked directly with our administrative team in the office.
