Dr. John Janek graduated from Western States Chiropractic College in Portland, Oregon in 1998. After graduating from the college, he became an associate in a very successful practice in Washington State which worked primarily in auto injury rehabilitation and accident injury chiropractic services. Dr. Janek moved back to Vancouver to open up his practice in the downtown area. After four years of running his own practice, Dr. Janek accepted a position as a clinic director and doctor of chiropractic in England and consulted in several clinics throughout England and Northern Ireland. After the birth of his daughter, Dr. Janek moved back to BC and settled in Kelowna with his family. After an enjoyable year in Kelowna, he decided to move back to the Lower Mainland,where he is happy to be back with family and friends, and to set up roots here as a family chiropractor at Coquitlam Integrated Health.
Dr. Janek has completed a post-graduate certification from the ICPA (International Chiropractic Pediatric Association), and is one of a few chiropractors in the Lower Mainland area who holds his post graduate certification in Pre/Post-Natal Chiropractic care and Pediatric care through the ICPA. Dr. Janek is also certified in the Webster Technique, a specific chiropractic sacral analysis and diversified adjustment for all weight-bearing individuals.
Dr. Janek focuses his chiropractic practice primarily in family practice in pre- and post-natal care, pediatric care, and family wellness. Dr. Janek has also had the privilege of working with people in the performing arts and athletes in many different disciplines and many different competitive levels and developing chiropractic treatment plans that are specifically targeted to individual rehabilitation needs.

Dr. Janek has held many speaking engagements to thousands of people over his career in schools, gyms, work places, and health centres. He has spoken on topics such as ‘The Importance of Posture,’ ‘Protecting Your Back’ and ‘Health and Wellness’ from a natural and chiropractic perspective.
