Dr. Julia Benati grew up in Dorchester where she attended St. David elementary school and Lord Dorchester Secondary School. Dr. Julia went on to get her B.Sc in Exercise Science at the University at Buffalo while playing NCAA Division 1 soccer, before graduating in 2022 from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto. After graduating, she spent a year abroad playing soccer professionally in Norway and Portugal before starting her career as a Chiropractor. Dr. Julia has taken a temporary leave to play in Canada’s first ever Women’s Professional Soccer League, the Northern Super League. She is playing for Ottawa Rapid FC.
Dr. Julia has been interested in Chiropractic from a young age. She believes Chiropractic has helped her achieve her best at soccer and stay in the game over the years. Dr. Julia is no stranger to injuries and knows what it takes to get back to playing sports at the highest level. She has a special interest in helping all athletes achieve their potential and stay in the game for as long as possible. Dr. Julia is also interested in helping everyone have a healthy and active lifestyle, and live their best possible life. She believes that chiropractic care keeps you feeling your best to be able to do all of the things you love and enjoy life to the fullest!
