Dr. Julie Hwang ND, is the Clinic Director, CEO and Founder of Aurum Medicine & Wellness Clinic, offering in-person and virtual clinical services and global corporate wellness services & health retreats.
Dr. Hwang is Ambassador to the Integrative and Naturopathic Medicine World Congress. She studied Physiology and received a Bachelor of Science at McGill University in Montreal, QC, including an exchange at the National University of Singapore. Following this, she graduated from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM), the largest AANMC-accredited institution in North America, where she was awarded scholarships for excellence in her naturopathic medicine and completed her 4-year ND degree and became licensed in Ontario by the College of Naturopaths of Ontario after completing the Naturopathic Physicians Licensing Examinations (NPLEX I and II). She is the former Executive Director of the Women’s Healthy Environments Network and a member of the Institute of Green and Open Sciences.
Dr. Hwang is interested in Neurodermatology, focusing on integrative approaches to Atopic Dermatitis and Eczema. She is in the DCIE program at LearnSkin, training run by integrative dermatologists in North America. Over the last decade, she pursued additional clinical training at the Humlegaarden Integrative Cancer Clinic in Denmark, and did clinical research in epilepsy with the University of Toronto Epilepsy Research Program in PUFAs and Seizures. Her clinical continuing education includes the fields of psychology, environmental medicine, consciousness and healing, learning from teachers and leaders around the world.
Dr. Julie also owns NOON WORLD INC., an award-winning cognitive wellness and supplement company integrating Eastern Medicine with Modern Neuroscience.
In business, she launched a web-marketing business for practitioners and clinic owners in 2012, built a charitable organization as the Executive Director and has been consulting for organizations and clinic owners in small-business development, daily operations, implementation of technology (including electronic health records systems, direct billing systems, and office management softwares), online marketing solutions (social media, website, sales funnels) and process development. With industry experience in Real Estate, Corporate Wellness, Health Product & Service and Environmental Health, she has served a diverse portfolio of people, organizations and businesses in the non-profit, charitable and for-profit sectors.
Dr. Hwang practices online and in-person. She works from Toronto with clients in New York, London, Paris and Singapore. She also is a global speaker and expert, speaking at the World Congress in Barcelona on eczema.
Personally, Dr. Julie has a competitive soccer, volleyball and swimming background and is an avid skiier, tennis & squash player, runner, cyclist and more.

The Vitamin B12 standalone appointment is a 5-10 minute service during which your licensed Naturopathic Doctor can administer the methylcobalamin or hydroxycobalamin shot for you in your muscle. This service is available to existing patients of a Naturopathic Doctor and includes $20 for the service and $6.95 including tax for the vitamin shot.
