My name is Kali Borissova, and my focus is on relieving pain through both Classic and Distal acupuncture, methods known for their long-lasting effects. For example, I can treat headaches by needling the foot, and many clients experience immediate relief. I believe in addressing the root cause of a patient’s condition, rather than just treating symptoms.
I am a Registered Acupuncturist with the CAA, Alberta, Canada, a Manual Osteopathic Practitioner (MOPD, MOCC, Calgary), and hold both a Diploma in Traditional Chinese Medicine and a Diploma in Acupuncture from the Alberta College of Acupuncture and TCM (ACATCM, Calgary). Additionally, I hold an MBBS from Bulgaria and a B.A. from the American University of Rome.
With a diverse educational background, I am dedicated to providing comprehensive and effective care, helping patients achieve optimal health, address hormonal imbalances, and find lasting relief from pain.

During your Adult Initial Consultation & Treatment, we will take the time to discuss your health concerns, medical history, and any symptoms you're experiencing. I will carefully assess your condition through a thorough examination, which may include pulse and tongue diagnosis, along with range-of-motion testing. Based on this information, I will create a personalized treatment plan, incorporating acupuncture and possibly other therapies, to address your specific needs. This session will focus on setting the foundation for your healing journey.
