SaveKathy (a.k.a the “Running Naturopath”) is a Naturopathic Doctor with a special interest in sports medicine, pain management, performance nutrition and mental health. She grew up in a small town playing a lot of baseball and soccer and after developing a fascination with human physiology and movement, she went on to complete an Honours B.Sc. in Kinesiology at the University of Western Ontario.

What are you proud of in your practice?
-I will meet you where you’re at, and get you where you want to be! I often find key factors affecting my patient’s health that are blocking their forward progress, and I take great pride in helping them get past this! I also aim to inspire, educate, and motivate my patients to take charge of their health, and lead by example!
Which cases do you enjoy treating? Why?
- I love treating athletes – competitive, recreational, and those enjoying sport and movement for their own reasons. I’ve always had a fascination for the capacities of the human body and am a passionate runner myself. Helping active patients who are on the mend, looking to improve their performance, or just wanting to live their passions to the max is especially rewarding!
