Dr. Kelsey Hroch, ND, is the founder of Northern Wellness Collective and a dedicated Naturopathic Doctor with a focus on reproductive health, particularly fertility, pregnancy, and postpartum care. With a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Biology and a Doctor of Naturopathy degree from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine, Dr. Hroch combines her knowledge with a compassionate approach to patient care.
A pivotal moment in Dr. Hroch's life was losing her father to cancer at age 11, which profoundly impacted her and fueled her desire to support others through health challenges. This led her to initiate a fundraiser for ARCH hospice, raising over $80,000 and demonstrating her commitment to community service and patient care. Her own fertility challenges further ignited her passion for reproductive health, leading her to support patients from pre-conception through postpartum.
In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Hroch is actively involved in professional development and education. She completed a Perinatal Fellowship with The Confident Clinician, advancing to a Legacy Fellow, and has presented "Ask Me Anything" podcast episodes and developed educational modules, highlighting her role as an educator and thought leader in naturopathic medicine.
Her unique blend of creativity and professionalism is evident in her hobbies, from gardening and crafting to exploring new experiences through travel and thrifting for vintage treasures.
Dr. Hroch's core philosophy centers on providing patients with the time and space to discuss their history and goals. She believes personalized care and preventative medicine are essential for optimal health outcomes, especially in Northern Ontario, where healthcare resources are often limited.
