Skills Groups are weekly, psychiatrist-led virtual groups focused on practical tools for navigating common mental health and life challenges. These groups are facilitated by a psychiatrist and emphasize structured learning, skill development, and real-world application. Format and Structure Schedule: Weekly Duration: 1 hour and 25 minutes Delivery: Virtual (Zoom) Hers is the Zoom link to attend: https://getcognito-ca.zoom.us/j/81929580756 Group Type: Open group (participants may attend on a week-to-week basis) Enrollment: Registration is required in advance. Each session has a limited number of spots. Only registered participants will be admitted to the Zoom session. Because this is an open group, the composition of participants may change from week to week. Individuals may attend as often or as occasionally as they find helpful. Purpose of the Group Skills Groups are designed to help participants: Learn concrete, evidence-informed strategies Practice applying skills in a guided, supportive setting Gain clarity on how to approach real-world challenges more effectively Participation Requirements To support safety, engagement, and confidentiality, the following are required for all participants: Video must be on for the entire session Participants must attend from a private space Headphones must be worn if others are nearby or privacy cannot otherwise be ensured. All participants are expected to maintain confidentiality regarding anything shared in the group. A consent form must be completed by each participant. These requirements are essential to maintaining a respectful and effective group environment.
