Dr. Kim Moran has more than two decades of chiropractic experience treating patients of all ages and physical abilities—from newborns to nonagenarians.
Having grown up in Charleswood, Dr. Moran is pleased to open her own practice, Moran Chiropractic, operating out of Charleswood Chiropractic Office at 3404 Roblin Blvd.
A big believer in collaboration, Dr. Moran respects that her patients know their own bodies and uses open communication to help assess their needs and comfort levels.
To that end,Dr. Moran employs a number of techniques and tools in her chiropractic treatments—such as a drop pieces on the chiropractic table and an elevation table, instruments to adjust joints like the Activator and Arthrostim, or her hands to manually adjust joints of the spine, arms, hands legs and feet. However, she always gives patients final say on how the treatment proceeds as there are many options.
Dr. Moran believes that Teaching a patient how to identify what may have led to their complaint and how to avoid it in the future minimizes chronic recurrence of injuries. She gives patients the tools and homework they need to work on their own well being.
A former professional dancer, Dr. Moran understands how intense physical demands can tax the body, and also how chiropractic can help the body return to optimum condition. She understands that regardless of the pain the show must go on and we must continue living our lives fully and with purpose.
This is also why Dr. Moran works with a network of other health professionals from various fields in order to recommend the most effective, comprehensive treatment plans for patients.
In the time since Dr. Moran graduated from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto in 2000, she has built a strong following of dedicated patients who appreciate her intuitive approach, kind demeanour, and encouraging attitude.

You may still choose to have your files transferred from Sun in addition. There would be a nominal cost by Sun for your information to be scanned and put on a secure USB. This booking involves a history, examination, diagnosis and treatment. Choose this as an option only the first time you are treated at Moran Chiropractic as it is no extra cost but requires a longer treatment.

If you've been in an accident with a motor vehicle either as a passenger or as a pedestrian, you would choose this as a booking option. This appointment would take 30 minutes to take a history, examination and provide a working/diagnosis of the injuries sustained. A referral for X-rays may be required, depending on the findings, prior to chiropractic treatment. The findings and outcome will be discussed with the patient. Treatment options will be discussed. You can call the clinic to book at (204) 619-5446 or if you have any questions or concerns. You will be directed to fill out online forms related to your accident prior to arrival. If you prefer to fill out the forms at the clinic please arrive ten minutes prior to your appointment time.

This would be the treatment option to choose after you have had your initial exam and treatment for injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident.

This is the treatment option you should choose if Dr. Moran requires laser therapy in addition to chiropractic treatment to help you recover from your accident. If you are unsure, book a regular MPI subsequent visit and speak to Dr. Moran about this modality.
If you have a new complaint, require a re-assessment for an existing complaint or just know you will need more time in your appointment . Dr. Moran requires additional time in order to examine and re-assess your progress in a pre-existing complaint or to examine and diagnose your new complaint. This will allow you to be treated for this complaint on the same visit.
The chiropractor will take a thorough history, perform an extensive examination and come to a diagnosis or working diagnosis. She will explain her findings to you in a clear way. She will give you an idea of how long it will take for you to recover from your complaint/s and provide you with options for treatment. These options may include referral for X-rays or to your physician. Chiropractic Treatment can involve manual or instrument adjusting of the joints of the spine and extremities as required. Laser therapy is also a treatment option for acute soft tissue injuries.

This is intended to be a regular follow up treatment for Chiropractic care after the Initial Exam or Re-exam visit. If you've had a motor vehicle or work place accident make sure to select MPI or WCB Initial Assessment as a treatment option.
This treatment involves the use of Laser therapy to augment healing. This is usually a treatment that Dr. Moran will advise you to have. If you are interested please talk to her on your next visit and book a normal Subsequent Visit.

If you have been injured at work choose this Treatment option. It will give Dr. Moran the time needed to take a history, perform an exam and form a diagnosis of your workplace injury. She will then treat your injury unless she feels you require X-rays or a referral prior to Chiropractic care. Please call to book this appointment as you will be directed to fill out certain forms prior to your visit.
