Dr. Kirsten Gilmour, DC
Dr. Kirsten Gilmour holds a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from St. Francis Xavier University and earned her Doctorate of Chiropractic from New York Chiropractic College. After several years of practice in the Washington, DC metro area, she’s excited to return to her hometown of Port Perry and bring her experience back to the community she loves.
Dr. Kirsten provides evidence-based, patient-centered care with a strong focus on functional movement and long-term recovery. She is trained to assess and treat a wide range of neuromusculoskeletal conditions using a variety of techniques, including chiropractic adjustments, acupuncture, soft tissue mobilization, cupping, and individualized exercise prescription.
Dr. Kirsten has a special interest in prenatal and postpartum care, including support for pregnancy-related discomfort, C-section recovery, and the physical demands of early motherhood. She is passionate about helping women feel strong and supported throughout every stage of pregnancy and recovery. She also provides gentle, effective care for infants and children, supporting healthy development and addressing common pediatric concerns. Her goal is to empower families with care that’s both effective and compassionate.

15-minute chiropractic treatment for current patients that may include adjustments, soft tissue therapy, and exercise rehabilitation. Designed for patients further along in their recovery and for maintenance care.
30-minute chiropractic treatment for current patients that may include adjustments, soft tissue therapy, acupuncture and exercise rehabilitation.
This appointment is for NEW patients with any musculoskeletal complaint or for general wellness chiropractic assessment.
During this consultation session we discuss your pregnancies, labours, deliveries and cesarean scar healing. This includes any scar symptoms present as well as scar appearance. We will do an examination and talk about your goals and the benefits of treatment. Treatment will be provided during this session. The Dolphin Neurostim is a microcurrent point stimulation treatment tool that aims to decrease pain, release scar tissue adhesions and fade scar tissue. Dr. Kirsten will discuss treatment plan and number of sessions after examining your scar. This tool is approved by Health Canada.
Returning Cesarean Scar Release Therapy follow-up session. Microcurrent Point Stimulation using the Dolphin Neurostim on either side of the cesarean scar. This session takes between 20-30 minutes.
Comprehensive history and physical examination to help guide your individualized treatment plan. Treatment may include adjustments, soft tissue therapy, acupuncture, exercise rehabilitation and education.
