Dr. Thompson’s approach to practice is patient centered and evidence based care, focusing on improving function and relieving pain. She performs a thorough history and physical assessment with every new patient in order to understand and address the source of pain and dysfunction rather than just treating the symptoms.
Dr. Thompson is from Antigonish, Nova Scotia, where she received her Bachelor of Science in Human Kinetics from St. Francis Xavier University before completing her chiropractic studies at Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto. She is passionate about improving patients’ knowledge through ongoing education and individualized treatment plans that provide them with the tools to become active participants in their own health and wellbeing. In order to best serve her patients, she utilizes a combination of techniques including diversified chiropractic manipulation and mobilization, myofascial release techniques, rehabilitative exercise, and education.
Dr. Thompson enjoys treating patients of all ages and in all stages of life, and has experience treating diverse patient groups including athletes, children, seniors, and those dealing with ongoing and overlapping health conditions. She is also a lifelong athlete (although much more recreational these days!) and has a special love of all things soccer-related.

If you have a new injury / complaint or have not seen a Chiropractor at our clinic in over 6 months, a re-assessment is required. Or an extended follow up treatment is needed for more than one body part including exercises review/rehab/laser therapy/taping/extensive soft tissue therapy. If your Chiropractor has requested that you book an extended follow-up, this 40 minute session is required.
