Dr. Lauren first became involved in chiropractic care as a young athlete. She was a competitive figure skater until beginning her undergraduate degree at the University of Western Ontario. While completing her Bachelor of Science, majoring in Biology, Dr. Lauren continued to compete in figure skating at the recreational level. Chiropractic care helped manage many of her injuries, including (but not limited to) chronic ankle sprains, low back pain, and hip pain.
She is now a doctor of chiropractic, having graduated from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in 2016. She is married and has a busy 5 year old daughter named Harley. Dr. Lauren has always had a passion for treating athletes, which she now shares with a passion for treating pregnant women, the parents of young children, and children themselves. Being able to provide some much needed relief to pregnant women is something that provides her with great satisfaction. Dr. Lauren can sympathize with “parenting injuries” that occur, perhaps from sleeping on the floor in your child’s room, lunging to catch them before they fall, leaning over the crib until they fall asleep, or carrying them around with one arm while you try to multi-task. Parents (particularly those with young children), tend to put themselves second to their children. As such, she loves to be able to help parents put themselves first. Dr. Lauren also loves working with children. As a parent she knows there is nothing quite as distressing as seeing your child uncomfortable. As a doctor of chiropractic, Dr. Lauren is proud to help anyone suffering an injury or discomfort, achieve optimal health.

This is a follow up visit for Dolphin Stimulation therapy ONLY. This is a 15 minute chiropractic appointment that will use Dolphin scar, manual soft tissue release, cupping or Acupuncture to help improve the overall sensation, appearance and mobility of c-section scars. Dolphin Stimulation Therapy can be offered as an additional form of therapy in any 30min Chiropractic + visit. Scar Release Treatment An efficient and non-invasive method of healing all scars, especially those from caesarean sections (c-sections) using the Dolphin Neurostim Device for MPS Therapy The Dolphin NeuroStim Device assists in the healing process of new and older scars. The therapy can help reduce the reducing scar tenderness and pain, while increasing tissue blood flow, improving sensation, and skin elasticity. When used on new scars, it has been shown to enhance functional outcomes, such as tissue strength and healing. The Microcurrent Point Stimulation (MPS) releases low level electrical impulses along that scar that increases the tissue's intercellular metabolism, protein synthesis, and healing function to accelerate the tissue's regeneration process. It assists in reducing muscular and fascial adhesions and restrictions resulting in a less painful and softer scar with increased overall mobility. *Please note, the MPS is not recommended for the following conditions: pregnancy, pacemaker, prosthetics, or tumours and cancers.
