Dr. Maathavan Thillai received his Doctorate of Chiropractic from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto. He graduated with honours from the University of Toronto with a Double Major in Integrative Biology and Health Studies. In order to broaden his lower extremity (hip, knee, ankle & foot) assessment, diagnosis and treatment skills, Dr. Thillai has also completed his Certified Pedorthic Technician designation (C Ped. Tech) dealing with lower limb care including custom orthotics, knee and ankle bracing and compression socks. Dr. Thillai is an advocate for interdisciplinary health care and uses evidence-based practices in managing his patient’s treatment plan. At Total Rehab, Dr. Thillai works in conjunction with the treating clinicians and therapists to provide their patients with orthopaedic product assessment and education to aid in optimizing patient health and to facilitate normal movement and function of the body’s muscles and joints.
