In this 1.5-2 hour workshop you will learn the basics of anatomy, areas to avoid or be cautious about, and how to treat different areas of the body with silicone cups. A short demonstration will be performed on each participant, with time for each person to practice and ask questions. This course will give you the foundation to perform cupping on another person in the comfort of your own home. Body areas that will be covered will be: face, neck, shoulders, back, thighs, calves, and forearms. Included with the course: a printout of the techniques and cupping instructions, which will also include charts of basic anatomy and muscles, red flags, and cautions, a bagged set of eight silicone body cups and one facial cup, and a bottle of fractionated coconut oil. PLEASE NOTE: This class needs to be booked directly with reception and is not available on certain days. The total cost is $300 for the course but will be billed at $150 per participant. A 50% non-refundable deposit for each participant is required to book this course. This will be applied to the cost of the course.

This 30 minute appointment will include a short review of the past treatments and address any new issues or concerns, then based on your child's requirements they will receive a treatment which may include some or all of the following: acupuncture, cupping, moxa, herb recommendations, and lifestyle recommendations. Very thin and small needles are used so there is almost no sensation with any needling that is done. Special techniques can also be used if there is a strong needle aversion. By causing microtrauma to the skin we stimulate the body's natural immune response to increase elastin and collagen. This can give us the result of increased firmness, elasticity, and smoother skin. Other traditional modalities will be used to help the effect of the needles.
