Born and raised in Fort St John, Dr. Maria brings over 11 years of experience to her practice.
Health and optimal wellness have always been a passion of Dr. Zazzi’s throughout University, Chiropractic College and everyday life. She completed her Bachelor of Science through the University of Alberta in Edmonton and graduated from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto, Ontario. After completing her training, in 2012 Dr. Zazzi opened a clinic in Northern BC and enjoyed treating all ages of the community, including prenatal, paediatric and geriatric care. For the past six years Dr. Zazzi was practicing Chiropractic in the beautiful Cayman Islands. This experience allowed her to work along side many talented Health Professionals before returning to her home town in Fort St. John, BC to start a family with her husband in January 2021. Recently, Dr. Zazzi welcomed twin sons in August 2021 and has since found an enriched passion to assist paediatric patients as well as mothers during their pre and post natal care.
Dr. Zazzi is driven to find optimal balance and is continually educating herself on all subjects concerning health, proper nutrition and prevention of illness and injury. She has been active throughout her life and continues to pursue her love of running, hiking, cooking, Yoga and Pilates. It is her mission to inspire and educate her patients and their families to live their best, healthiest lives in the most natural way possible. Dr. Zazzi was recognized for her passion and commitment to her patients and their well being and awarded Clinical Excellence in 2012 and Entrepreneur of the Year for 2014.
Dr. Maria Zazzi is a diversified practitioner that utilizes various techniques to optimize the functioning of your body. These include gentle spinal mobilizations, Kinesio taping and a variety of Myofascial Release Techniques (Grasten, Muscle Release Therapy, etc.). Dr. Zazzi is certified in Neuro-Emotional Technique as well as Craniosacral Therapy. Her treatment is performed in a way that is unique to you, your condition and your comfort level. Dr. Zazzi blends new age chiropractic care with lifestyle tips and rehabilitative exercises to help each patient reach their goals and live their best possible, pain-free life.
