Meet Dr. Meagan, founder of Peridot Wellness. She is a chiropractor, medical acupuncture provider, Pilates instructor, wellness advocate, and obsessed with skin care! Of course, facial acupuncture is a a regular part of her skincare regime. She comes to the team with a wealth of knowledge and energy.
Her training began at McGill where she studied Kinesiology and Neuroscience. Her love for Anatomy, Physiology, the nervous system lead her to CMCC, where she graduated with her Doctorate of Chiropractic. While finishing up her clinical year there, she completed additional training at McMaster in Contemporary Medical Acupuncture. Her love for acupuncture and the wonders it can do for our overall health and healing process did not end there. She has done additional training in facial rejuvenation acupuncture with at CCNM and Acuregen in New York (UK based). Meagan is constantly learning and taking courses to expand her knowledge and provide you with the best care.
Meagan loves to work with people of all ages, and stages - people often send their whole family in to see her! She strives to simplify and educate. She truly believes that knowledge is power. When you understand what is going on with your body, you can be an active player in your healing process. Her goal is to make you feel empowered leaving the office so that you feel comfortable making daily decisions about your health.
