Dr. Meagan Stachnik decided to trade the cold Alberta winter for sunny California to pursue her Doctorate of Chiropractic near San Francisco, at Life Chiropractic College West. Throughout her schooling, Dr. Meg was co-president of the Sport Performance Institute, serving athletes and educating peers about sport diagnostics and protocols. Life West was able to provide an extensive hands-on clinical experience that shaped Dr. Meg’s passion for Paediatrics and Peri-natal care. During her time at Life West, Dr. Meg completed two life changing chiropractic service trips, in India & Tonga. The opportunity allowed her to focus on different communities, life altering diseases and injuries that not all practitioners may be able to have the opportunity to treat.
After graduating Summa Cum Laude with Gold Clinical Honours in 2023, Dr. Meagan now blends a treatment style incorporating bio-mechanical specific rehabilitation exercise, soft tissue therapy, adjustment and mobilization. She loves working with kids, moms and weekend warriors. Dr. Meagan is Webster certified, a specialized training that enables her to provide safe, gentle adjustments throughout pregnancy to help optimize pelvic alignment, reduce discomfort, and support proper fetal positioning.
Dr. Meg comes from a long line of cattle farmers and animals have a special place in her heart. Outside of the clinic you will find her working on the farm, laying on a beach somewhere, walking her dog, and coaching or joining a group fitness class. Dr. Meg is an avid reader and particularly enjoys sitting in a cafe sipping a London Fog with a great book.
