Dr. Michaela Ouimet is a licensed Naturopathic Physician in British Columbia. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology and Psychology from the University of Victoria and later completed her Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine – Boucher. She has a general practice with a focus in women’s health, musculoskeletal injuries and pain, stress and burnout, and gut health.
Dr. Ouimet’s approach to health is evidence-based, holistic, and focused on addressing the root cause. She is passionate about working collaboratively with her patients to empower them with the tools and support they need to feel their best.
When Dr. Ouimet is not in clinic, you can find her spending time with friends and family soaking up all that Vancouver Island has to offer. Mountain biking, gardening, surfing, and volleyball are a few activities she loves!

Initial Consultation (60 minutes) Online. Access Naturopathic care from your home! This option for an initial ND consultation requires that you have a stable internet connection or phone line. All labs, supplements, medications, and further treatment support are accessible through telemedicine.
Choose this session if you have already had an initial evaluation or consult with Dr. Claire Wilson, ND, or Dr. Michaela Ouimet, ND regarding your injury or chronic pain. Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) is a regenerative injection therapy that involves a blood draw, spin (Arthrex Angel Kit), and injection treatment under ultrasound. Ultrasound-guided PRP injections are performed on areas of injury to promote tissue regeneration.
Prolotherapy is a regenerative injection technique that targets soft tissue and/or joint injuries. This treatment involves ultrasound-guided injections of anaesthetic & dextrose to stimulate local tissue healing and modulate pain. All prolotherapy appointments are booked for a minimum of 45 minutes and will involve a comprehensive clinical assessment. Ultrasound imaging may be used to assess your injury. Additional treatments that may be performed during your appointment include manual muscle release, mobilization, and/or functional dry needling.
Continue to transform your health. Follow-up appointments are regularly 30-mins in length to give us time to check-in, refine treatment protocols and continue to support you on your healing journey.
