Michelle is the clinic director at Russell Hill, a chiropractor and a registered psychotherapist (qualifying).
She graduated from chiropractic college in 2001 though it was her own back injury 8 years prior that introduced her to chiropractic care. Having been an acute patient more times than she cares to remember, she draws on her experiences to bring empathy to her practice. Dr. Fagen uses a diversified approach to chiropractic, using manual adjustments, soft tissue release (massage, stretching), and laser therapy. She also incorporates medical acupuncture, modalities such as interferential current and ultrasound, custom orthotics and home exercise programs.
Michelle's interest in psychotherapy came out of years of working with and getting to know her patients combined with her personal experience with therapy. Michelle works with clients online and in person. She is amazed daily at her clients resilience, vulnerability and capacity for growth.

The Class IV laser is a recent addition to the clinic, and offers a more powerful photobiomodulation treatment. Used for acute injuries such as sprains, as well as more chronic injuries like disc herniations, sacroiliac pain and tennis elbow, the Class IV laser promotes healing of damaged tissue and speeds up recovery time.
