Dr. Speranza is an Upper Cervical Doctor of Chiropractic, a life-long student, and lover of nature and all things outdoors. She strives to create connection in communities through education and helping people find solutions to their health problems.
Originally from Calgary, Dr. Speranza completed her Bachelor of Science in Anatomy and Cell Biology at the University of Saskatchewan and went on to graduate summa cum laude with her Doctorate in Chiropractic from Northwestern Health Sciences University in Minnesota.
Upon returning to Calgary, she developed a passion for helping people suffering from head and neck conditions. Her goal is to help people get to the root of the issue so that they can understand what is happening in their body, improve their brain and and nervous system health, and return to doing the activities they love.
When she is not in the clinic you can find her out in the backcountry, on the bike trails, or out for a nature walk with her dog.

New Patient Consultation is a 60 minute appointment. A detailed case history will be taken, along with a postural assessment and physical exam to determine your candidacy for NUCCA treatment. Please note: This is a consult and assessment only. If you are found to be a good candidate for NUCCA, your initial upper cervical x-rays and first adjustment appointment will then be scheduled with the doctor.
Pediatric New Patient Consultation is a 60 minute appointment for children 5 years old and under. A detailed case history will be taken, along with a physical and neurological exam to determine your child's candidacy for NUCCA treatment.
This is an opportunity for pre-existing patients of Dr. Speranza's to have their young family members (children between the ages of 2 - 10) who have not started care screened for treatment.
Progress exam with adjustment.
This is an appointment for patients who have not been seen in over one year. This allows us to get an updated case history and exam and determine the best course of treatment.
Regular Office Visit is a follow-up postural evaluation to determine your need for an adjustment and review any supportive exercises. Please note: this type of appointment is scheduled after a first adjustment appointment has been completed.
This is a diagnostic exam to evaluate sensory and motor function of the neck or evaluate your progress under care..
A transfer patient appointment should be booked by a patient who has previously had NUCCA care at another clinic and would like to transfer to this location. Please make a note when booking as to which NUCCA Clinic you are transferring from so that your records can be obtained.
