A comprehensive assessment for patients who want IV iron but have not been fully assessed by another practitioner. This visit reviews your health history and bloodwork, confirms whether IV iron is appropriate, and prepares the referral to the Nurse Practitioner for treatment approval. If you’re unsure which appointment you need, please contact the clinic or visit our IV Iron page for guidance.
This visit is for patients who have already completed their IV iron assessment, had their delegation approved, and have picked up their IV iron from the pharmacy. During this appointment, your IV iron will be administered safely under monitoring. Treatment time varies based on your dose and tolerance. If you are unsure whether you are ready to book this appointment, please contact the clinic.
