Education:
Dr. Slota received her Four-year Doctor of Chiropractic degree in Toronto. Her degree emphasized courses in anatomy, nutrition, rehabilitation, sports injuries, chiropractic adjusting techniques, and biomechanics/orthotics. Dr. Slota was on the selection committee for applicants to the Chiropractic College.
Dr. Slota completed a one-year Chiropractic clinical internship in Toronto and received the distinction of Clinic Honours. She also earned a Clinical Acupuncture Certificate recognized by the Acupuncture Council of Ontario. She received her Honours Bachelor of Science (double major in Biology and Psychology).
Personal:
Dr. Slota was a member of the Varsity Rowing team while in university. She earned silver medal in the Ontario Universities Finals and gold in various regattas across Ontario while in rowing in a heavy weight women's eight. Dr. Slota also enjoys running, staying active, traveling, interior design, playing with children, reading, learning, painting, drawing, and music.

One of the main types of chiropractic care for children is treating back and neck pain or other issues related to the spine. All of our experienced doctors can check children as young as newborns for problems, especially those related to the health of their spine. When we work with children, the same highly skilled treatments that adults receive are given with a more gentle and soft precision. Visits include a physical exam, diagnosis and treatment. In the case of children, we understand that care needs to be tailored and suitable to the age of the child. Book this visit and we will take care of your child with the highest standard of care. Fortunately we all have children of our own and we are very good with kids!
