Dr. Rylee Stephens graduated from the _University of Calgary’s_ Kinesiology program followed by
grad school in _Portland, Oregon_ where she completed her **Master’s of Science in Sports
Medicine degree** and **Doctor of Chiropractic degree** cum laude from the _University of Western
States._
She has additional training in hands on therapy **(Active Release Technique, Graston, Rock Tape,
Clinical Neurodynamic Solutions), functional movement assessments (FMS, SFMA, DNS),
exercise prescription, pre and postnatal care, paediatric care, breastfeeding support, craniosacral therapy, & concussion treatment and management** and is currently
completing a sports residency program through the RCCSS(C).
She has worked with athletes, teams and sporting events throughout Oregon, Washington and British Columbia and has published work on diaphragmatic breathing and balance. She is a certified sport’s first
responder.
Rylee believes in a **hands-on, patient centered approach to care** and treats musculoskeletal
conditions from head to toe.
Her treatment approach utilizes appropriate joint manipulation, soft tissue therapy and strength and condition to improve functional biomechanics with the end goal of
getting patients pain-free and back to enjoying their favorite activities. Rylee loves to work with
patients of all ages and activity levels.
In her spare time, you will find Rylee skiing, biking, hiking running or paddle boarding, usually
with two kids and dog leading the way!

For patients interested in custom foot orthotics. Appointment consists of full gait and foot assessment, as well as casting for orthotics. Custom orthotics take about 6 weeks, you will be called when the arrive and asked to book a 15 minute follow up appointment (free of charge) to ensure proper fit. The cost of the orthotics is $375 (might be slightly different for specific orders). 50% of the cost of the orthotic will be collected prior to placing the order.

This assessment is for the newest members of our families. Infants may benefit from musculoskeletal care to assist with feeding struggles, motor development (tummy time, rolling, crawling etc), torticollis & positional predilections, as well as general musculoskeletal wellness and screening. Dr. Rylee has taken additional courses in paediatric care, breastfeeding support, motor milestones and hands on work for the infant (various courses including craniosacral 1 & 2). Treatment and care for the paediatric population is very gentle and soft in nature.
