Dr. Sandy graduated from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College with Honours as a Doctor of Chiropractic. She is trained to assess and treat all areas of the spine and extremities, including: jaw, neck, back, ribs, shoulders, elbows, wrists, hands/fingers, pelvis, hips, knees, ankles, and feet/toes. Her training and techniques include: Diversified Chiropractic Technique, Myofascial Release Therapy, Nerve Release Therapy, Graston Technique, Pre-habilitation, Rehabilitation, Exercise Therapy, and Kinesiotaping.
Dr. Sandy has a special interest in nerve injuries, pre & post-surgical rehabilitation, as well as headaches, dizziness, concussions and dysfunctions of the jaw, sinuses, ears, and extremities. She enjoys trouble shooting difficult injuries and treating the whole body. She also believes in advancing the Chiropractic profession through mentoring young chiropractors.
Dr. Sandy believes in comprehensive Chiropractic care for patients of all ages. It restores proper function to the joints, optimizes the nervous system, and helps the body function at its best, from Head 2 Toe!
At Head 2 Toe, Dr. Sandy has brought together a caring and compassionate team of highly skilled practitioners, with the goal of providing patients with multiple treatment options and the highest level of care in a warm and welcoming space.
Dr. Sandy feels blessed to call Castlegar home. She fell in love with the beautiful community of Castlegar in 2013 when she moved here to start practicing. She is excited to be offering Chiropractic services in her practice in the heart of downtown Castlegar. She looks forward to sharing with the whole family, everything that compassion and Chiropractic care can do!
