Dr. Henderson, ND is dedicated to helping her patients reach their optimal state of health and wellness. She works to blend science with holistic healing methods while maintaining a strong focus on the mind-body connection.
She graduated from the University of Windsor with a Bachelor of Science (Honours) degree in Biological Sciences and Psychology with Thesis. She received her designation as a Naturopathic Doctor in 2010, after four years of study at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM). Sara is a member of the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors (CAND) and Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors (OAND).
In 2011, Sara became licensed to administer IV Therapy. Intravenous nutrients can help support patients with cancer, gastrointestinal issues, low immunity/infections, and chronic fatigue. Sara has also served as a Naturopathic Advisor to a leading Canadian natural health product manufacturer and distributor.
Trained as a general care practitioner, she treats a variety of acute and chronic conditions and people of all ages. Sara is further trained in Traditional Chinese Medicine and treating thyroid dysfunction. She also has a special interest in gastrointestinal and immune disturbances, women’s health and fertility, as well as, pediatrics and mental health.
