##**My Philosophy**
If there’s one thing I knew I wanted to do in the future it was help people and that’s exactly what I intend to do for my patients. I strongly believe that we have control over a large component of our health and why not do so in a natural manner. I strive to empower my patients to take an active role in their health which is incorporated into my treatments by discussing lifestyle changes, stretches and advice to maintain their progress. My treatments may include a variety of techniques including manipulations and mobilizations of the spine and extremities, soft tissue therapy, acupuncture, exercise and education to optimize my patients full potential. I am also certified in Instrument Assisted Soft tissue therapy and Webster.
Throughout my education at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College, I had the opportunity to work with the special needs population, moms-to- be and underserved communities in Dominican Republic. During my intensive training at school, I developed a passion in pregnancy care, postnatal care and children.
All individuals of all ages are welcomed into the practice and I look forward to discussing chiropractic with everyone!

In addition to regular chiropractic visit, MPS scar release will be performed this session. Scar tissue (due to surgery, trauma, etc) can disrupt the body's stress response and contribute to chronic tension. This can restrict movement, cause daily pain, or disrupt daily activity. During this session, microcurrent will be applied to the scar and surrounding tissue. This can have a variety of benefits, including a reduction in pain surrounding the area, an increase in circulation, and increase lymphatic drainage. As chiropractors, we specialize in musculoskeletal health however, our education does not stop here. The initial component of your appointment will consist of a thorough history. From here, we will perform a variety of tests which will stress certain structures to see where your pain and dysfunctions are occurring. Once that is all done, we will discuss the treatment plan and your first treatment will be well underway! This treatment will also include an assessment and treatment of scar tissue.
