I am a Certified Health and Wellness coach with the NBHWC (will sit for board certification in 2025). And important to me are also the certifications I hold with MIEA as a Mindfulness Instructor with a 20-year personal practice of mindfulness and meditation, and as a Certified Wellness Practitioner with the National Institute of Wellness.
In our work together, we will view health and fitness as multi-dimensional concepts that include the whole person and many different wellness aspects such as physical health, nutrition, financial wellness, mental and emotional wellness, environmental living, spirituality, value-setting, and culture. My work is client-centered and focuses on helping YOU decide what your best self feels in your life. As a Health and Fitness Coach I will focus on being your biggest cheerleader and confidant, working through goal setting and obtainable action. Importantly, the foundation of this work is through my Ex(SEL) lens which centers on examining solidarity, equity, and liberation in your own life and the lives of those around you. In short, within each session, we will ensure that we bring the unique you into the conversation and all of who you are with you in your life goals.
