Dr. Trevor Erikson has been focused on the natural treatment of skin disease since 2005, after he completed an intensive Chinese medicine dermatology program in London, England (2007) and an internship in the dermatology ward in Changsha, Hunan, China (2005). He has since helped many hundreds of people suffering with a wide variety of skin disorders and inflammatory bowel issues (Crohn’s disease and colitis).
Dr Erikson now also focuses on the treatment of pain - muscle, joint, headache, etc - using acupuncture as a non-pharmaceutical way to feel better. (This is for Pender Island patients only)
Dr. Erikson is also an internationally respected educator for using herbal medicines to treat skin disease. He has published several articles in several Chinese medicine journals, as well as taught both live and through webinar to students around the world. He is a founding member of the International Traditional Chinese Medicine Dermatology Association.
Dr. Erikson currently practices in South Surrey, about 30 minutes drive from Vancouver, as well as on Pender Island, where he resides. When not seeing patients, studying or writing articles, Dr. Erikson can be found gardening, playing guitar or spending time in nature with his wife, Gillian Allan (a Registered Midwife), and three children.

During this initial consultation with Dr Erikson at his South Surrey clinic location, he will investigate the reasons for your skin issue and may photograph any areas of concern. A treatment with herbal medicines may be prescribed for future pickup, or delivery. There is no pharmacy at the clinic.
This appointment is meant for any follow-ups related to an initial consultation with doctor Erikson. It will take place at the south surrey office.
