Dr. Vicki Comeau, ND, has been recognized as one of the top Naturopaths in York region for several years by the Era Banner. Graduating as a naturopathic doctor in 2000, she has been in private practice ever since, treating patients with various modalities including nutrition, supplements, botanical medicine, Phytogen and Gemmo therapies, homeopathy, and bodywork therapies like Matrix Repatterning, Bioflex laser, PEMF, and Microcurrent.
Dr. Comeau uses the BioMeridian system, an electrodermal testing device, to conduct comprehensive evaluations based on acupuncture meridians. This system assesses body systems and organs for strengths and weaknesses, serving as an ideal tool for preventive healthcare and food sensitivity testing. It also helps monitor the effectiveness of prescribed therapies during follow-ups.
Certified in Contact Reflex Analysis and Matrix Repatterning, Dr. Comeau is also trained in EquiBow Bodywork for animals. During this visit, we will clarify your health goals and go through an in-depth health history. A 60 point, Electrodermal Meridian Stress Test with balance will be performed which will help identify top priorities to be addressed associated with your main health concern/s. A treatment plan will be provided and discussed with you. Finding the root cause is the key in knowing what treatment/s would be most effective for you. This session is geared more towards those who have never seen an Naturopathic Doctor before and who have had ongoing/chronic health concern/s where they are trying to find out the cause.

Matrix Repatterning would benefit anyone with or without pain to help correct cellular imbalances for better overall improved body function. During the initial appointment, a complete physical assessment will be conducted which includes establishing baseline range of motions of key joints in the body (hips, shoulders and neck). A hands on body scan is then done to identify areas of fascial restriction/s. Once the key priority/ies have been identified, treatment is started. If Matrix Repatterning is the initial appointment you have with Dr. Comeau, ND then a full health history will be discussed with the focus around your main health concern. If you had an initial Naturopathic Consultation prior to the Matrix Repatterning appointment, the health history will have already been discussed and more time will be allocated towards treatment.

Depending on the complexity of your health care needs, your follow up sessions may require different amounts of time. The Electrodermal Meridian Stress Testing is repeated to compare the readings from your previous testing date. It is one important aspect of re-evaluating how your treatment plan is working for you. If you have a lot of supplements and wish to have them all tested, more time may be required.

Through the use of the BioMeridian Electrodermal Stress Testing Method, food sensitivities may be identified. This method of testing has been used by Dr. Comeau, ND for over 20 years with great accuracy. It is less invasive than a blood draw. It allows the patient to obtain results immediately and it’s covered under health benefit plans because it is part of the Naturopathic Consultation. On average there are up to 200 foods that may be tested.
