AjouterDr. Vinson Hu received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the Canadian Memorial
Chiropractic College (CMCC) in Toronto. He holds an Honours Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Queen’s University, where he interned as a varsity strength and conditioning coach for the men’s rugby team. His experience working with patients of all ages and backgrounds has helped him develop an adaptable, outcome-oriented
approach to care. Vinson also speaks Mandarin and French.

Vinson integrates clinical chiropractic care with evidence-based rehabilitation and therapeutic techniques. Whether addressing chronic or acute pain, he emphasizes the importance of symptom management, progressive overload, and restoring movement quality to help each patient achieve their health and performance goals.
Outside of the clinic, Vinson stays active through hockey, BJJ, golf, and softball. He also enjoys playing the guitar and the piano – holding an ARCT diploma in piano performance.

At Metatherapy we use DUOLITH SD1 »ultra« shockwave therapy which is a non-surgical way to treat chronic pain. Shockwave therapy uses rapid frequency vibration to increase blood flow, reduces muscle spasms and is known to decrease pain.
This is a 60 minutes session of treatment with radial shockwave therapy.
WHAT TO EXPECT: Our certified TPI professionals along with the Foresight Golf Simulator will perform a golf-specific assessment to analyze your swing and identify any physical limitations. During your assessment, our TPI practitioners analyze your swing, pinpointing areas for improvement based on your body's mechanics. With personalized insights and data-driven feedback, we tailor a targeted improvement plan to optimize your performance on the course. Y-Strap™ is a decompression tool used to stretch the back to release pressure from the vertebrae along the spine from top to bottom. It is inspired by manual spine traction techniques in the Y-Axis to help reduce the tension in the vertebrae along the spine. Dr. James Chiew is listed as an official Y-Strap therapist, certified to use this technique with patients that are suitable.
