After your initial visit, follow up appointments will consist of chiropractic treatment which can include but is not limited to adjustments, soft tissue therapy and exercise prescription. This appointment lasts up to ten minutes. The doctor also will discuss how you are progressing and any concerns you may have.

During this treatment, patients will receive both chiropractic care and acupuncture. The length of this visit is roughly 25 minutes

Your first visit to a chiropractor at Sound Chiropractic can last up to 40 minutes, and will consist of a thorough history, physical examination and a diagnosis of the chief complaint (reason for the visit). During the history, the Doctor will be engaging you in a conversation that provides information and will help lead towards a diagnosis. The physical examination will consist of many tests geared toward delivering a proper diagnosis to your area of concern. Components of the physical examination often include procedures such as: range of motion testing, neurological, orthopaedic and functional muscle tests. After the examination, the Doctor will describe to you what they have found and will provide you with a diagnosis and work with you to create an individualized treatment plan that best suits your needs.

This is for existing patients that have a new complaint. This visit will entail a history and examination of the area of complaint, a report of findings and delivery of treatment plan. Treatment will be provided if time allows.
