Edmar is a graduate of the West Coast College of Massage Therapy with a foundational background in Kinesiology and Sport Sciences. His approach to massage is holistic and highly adaptive, utilizing a blend of Swedish, deep-tissue, and sports rehabilitation techniques. By combining critical thinking with intuitive touch, he ensures each treatment is tailored to the specific recovery and maintenance goals of his clients.

His passion for the field was inspired by his 21-year career as a competitive breakdancer, during which he ranked in the top 21 in Canada for the 2024 Olympic qualifiers. Having navigated his own recovery through injuries in martial arts, wrestling, and track and field, Edmar transitioned from patient to practitioner to help others achieve optimal body awareness and performance.

When he isn’t in the clinic, Edmar maintains a rigorous personal training schedule that includes Olympic lifting, yoga, and functional strength conditioning. This lifetime of diverse movement gives him a unique, firsthand understanding of body mechanics, which he applies daily to provide high-quality, effective care for his patients.
