Elaine holds a Master’s degree in Health Sciences - Speech-Language Pathology from the University
of Ottawa. She is a bilingual speech-language pathologist who has practiced over the last 20+ years
in multi-faceted roles such as clinician, mentor and clinical supervisor in many settings such as
preschool initiative programs, hospital rehabilitation care, private practice and currently working in
adult stroke rehab. Elaine has worked in Quebec and Ontario.
Elaine provides services to children and adults alike. She is Hanen certified and has had the
pleasure of offering numerous parent trainings over the years! When working with children, her
focus is ensuring the parent is included and equipped to support their child. Her areas of expertise
include early language intervention, articulation and sound development, motor speech disorders,
and literacy. As mentioned, Elaine also works currently in adult neuro rehabilitation. She has a
passion for the treatment of aphasia, apraxia and dysphagia in adults. She is dedicated to client-
centered therapy and making therapy fun and engaging for all her clients!
Outside of the office, Elaine enjoys spending time with her family – her spouse and two kids (and 2
cats!), visiting extended family out of town, being at the cottage, near the water, traveling and
cooking!
