Ella has been practicing as a Registered Massage Therapist since graduating from Kootenay Columbia College in 2020. After gaining experience in multidisciplinary clinics, she went on to open her own practice in Nelson. In August of last year, she began a Master’s program in Occupational Therapy to continue expanding her education and skills.
Born and raised in the Kootenays, Ella is excited to be back home for the summer before returning for her second year of occupational therapy studies. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time outdoors hiking, running, paddleboarding, and exploring with her dog.
Her treatment approach combines deep tissue massage, Swedish techniques, myofascial therapy, and Fascial Stretch Therapy (FST). FST is a table-based assisted stretching technique that she can incorporate into treatments for clients who are interested. Ella has also completed continuing education in cervical spine and temporomandibular joint (TMJ) treatment.
Ella is looking forward to practicing in Rossland this summer and supporting the community in staying active and doing what they love.
