Elysia’s goal is to help her patients live their best life, whatever that may look like for them. She uses manual therapy, exercise prescription and education to help her patients feel better and empower them to be actively involved in their rehab.
Elysia is originally from southern Ontario, she and her husband Clarke along with their pets, relocated to Kelowna BC in 2021 in search of a simpler and more active lifestyle. Elysia completed her BScHons in Kinesiology at Brock University in St. Catherines ON and went on to obtain her MSc in Physiotherapy at McMaster University in Hamilton ON.
Elysia brings a variety of personal and professional experience into her practice every day. As a former competitive athlete (soccer, dance and cheerleading) she knows what it’s like to be sidelined by injury, from broken ankles to concussions, and what it’s like to be a Physiotherapy patient. Additionally she brings her experience from years as a physiotherapist in multiple environments including private clinics, rehab and acute care.
Elysia is here to treat all of your Physiotherapy needs, however she specializes in neurological, concussion and vestibular rehab. So if you’ve experienced a recent head or neck injury, been in a car accident, or have any new or long standing dizziness, book an assessment with her today!
When she’s not in the clinic Elysia can be found hiking or biking Knox Mountain with her husband and their pup Motley; on the beach with a good thriller book in hand; or when in doubt curled up on the couch with their cat Oscar re-watching Friends.
