I am Emily Jenkins, a dedicated Massage Therapist with a passion for healing and wellness. My journey into massage therapy began as a first aid attendant in the forestry industry, where I assisted with various musculoskeletal injuries such as tendonitis and carpal tunnel syndrome. These experiences gave me a profound understanding of the importance of proactive care and effective treatment for physical ailments.
I relocated from Vancouver Island to the Okanagan to attend OVCMT, graduating from the massage therapy program in November 2023. My deep connection to the Okanagan region has fostered a strong sense of belonging and community in Vernon, which I've proudly called home for the past few years.
My areas of interest within massage therapy include chronic pain management, acute injury biomechanics, overall wellness promotion, and pregnancy treatments. I am committed to providing personalized care and empowering my clients on their wellness journeys.
